Starting this year, we will be providing you with regular newsletters and blog posts. We will be covering in-depth technical topics that we encounter and deal with in our day-to-day business on a regular basis and will lighten up the ‘heavy fare’ with refreshing articles in which we shed light on what we actually stand for at WKT, what visions we share and what topics, responsibilities and challenges we are constantly dealing with. We look forward to continuing to report next year!
We made a huge leap forward in terms of sustainability in 2024. From cold local heating systems and cable protection pipes for national energy routes to high-pressure gas pipes made from PA-12 for biogas plants - our products are actively helping to shape the energy transition. Another highlight: our role in the construction of the ‘Borgholzhausen power line’. With a huge lot, we have contributed a crucial piece of the puzzle to this important infrastructure project.
We have established contacts and formed networks. Thanks to your support, we have further expanded our export markets and can now offer our solutions even more internationally. We are delighted to have gained a large number of European partners for exciting projects this year. An important step that we are particularly proud of.
With more and more special pipes, moulded parts and special components according to drawings, WKT has continuously developed into a reliable and comprehensive system supplier - with products that simply fit for projects that are as individual as your requirements.
Our new exhibition stand at IFAT 2024 was a complete success. We had the chance to meet many of you in person and have exciting conversations about the future of our industry. Your feedback on our new trade fair appearance was great and we are already looking forward to many different trade fair meetings in 2025!
After intensive preparation, we introduced our environmental management system in accordance with DIN EN ISO 14.001 - a significant milestone and an important, but in our eyes also necessary step that emphasises our responsibility towards the environment.
In 2024, we were proudly awarded the training certificate by the Federal Employment Agency in Hagen for our commitment to promoting young talent. An investment in the future that is particularly close to our hearts.
After the year is before the year: 2025 is knocking on the door and has a lot in store; we can already tell you now: It's going to be exciting.
Finally, we would like to thank you. Thank you for your trust, your cooperation and your support. Together as a partner, network and team, we are ending 2024 with great progress and a fantastic outlook for the start of 2025.
